Meet Delores (the Disklavier)

After almost a year of searching, we finally found a mint condition Upright Yamaha Disklavier.
We felt the Upright Disklavier was the perfect piano for MONOLisa due to it's versatility and size.
She's an older model, an MX100 Mark II, about 15 years old. She plays and sounds amazing, with the added benefit of MIDI compatibility.
(What does that mean?)
It means that we can record MIDI performance data while recording the piano acoustically.
It means that if the room was full and there's maybe some drum bleed in the piano, once everyone leaves, we can play back the MIDI data to the piano and record the acoustic piano "after the fact" without bleed.
It means that if there were mistakes in the performance, instead of having to live with it, we can go in and edit the MIDI data and then re-record the piano acoustically.
It means that, if desired, we can use the MIDI data recorded during the session and use it with any software pianos we have in the library (which is extensive).

Here's another great feature, clients who perhaps don't have an acoustic piano, can send us MIDI data, we can send it to the Disklavier, and it will play your performance back as you played it. We can send you a recording of your performance using the acoustic piano.
So many options!
